Flicker #2
Thanks to all the folks that have made Flicker a reality. Dave and everyone at Local 506, John Plymale and Jason Summers for lending out their Super 8 projectors. Elin Slavick for words of advice and encouragement. School Kids Records for letting people leave their films there for me. Lance Bangs and Angie Grass (who started Flicker in Athens, GA) for inspiring me to start Flicker here. I envision Flicker's all over the country one day. The key is your support and your desire to make films, thanks, and I'll see you and maybe your new film Thursday, Jan. 12, 1995, at 8:30 pm. That's the second Thursday so that everyone can be back in time.
Thanks to Jay Faires and Mammoth Records for helping Flicker get off the ground. We'll have a new Super 8 projector for the next Flicker!
How can you help? Put down your video camera, buy some Super 8 film, and capture your family, friends, etc. on this beautiful celluloid. Come up with a story, or compose and juxtapose images that surround you, send the film to be processed, and come back on January 12 to show us the light you've captured.
Yours for better films,
